Hey there! I’m Kaitlyn, a wanderlust enthusiast and the proud owner of Escapes by Kait. I grew up in the small town of Romeo, Michigan, and still call the ‘burbs of Metro Detroit home. My husband, Shane, and I are obsessed with our Australian Shepherds, Rosie and Lucy.
While most tourists collect magnets or shot glasses, I prefer tattoos to represent each place I’ve explored. My top three bucket list destinations are Australia, Iceland, and Ireland.
I always thought I’d follow in my grandpa's footsteps as a photographer, but life had other plans. After dropping out of college, I spent over a decade in logistics before finally finding my true calling in travel.
